Applications are sought for a committed Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work with Dr Jan-Willem Bos conducting research for a Government funded project entitled Development Of Generators Based On Next Generation Thermoelectric Materials. The primary duties will be to undertake experimental research work, with the main focus being the fabrication of prototype devices from synthesised thermoelectric materials, and dissemination of research findings through technical reports.
The successful applicant will have (or be near to completion of) a PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science or Electrical Engineering with expertise in synthesis, processing and characterisation of inorganic solids and/or device fabrication, and ideally will have experience with thermoelectric materials.
The post is available for 24 months starting 01/05/2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
