Occasional Lecturer(s) in Environmental Management

Glasgow Caledonian Universty (GCU) – London Campus

GCU London is the London-based postgraduate campus of Glasgow Caledonian University.

We are now accepting expressions of interest from candidates with the following areas of academic/industry experience in Environmental Management and who are available over the summer and able to travel to our London campus:

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Environmental Management.
• Advanced Waste Treatment Technologies.
• Water Quality and Wastewater Treatment.
• Environmental Regulation and State Control of Oil and Gas.

Key requirements:

• Thorough knowledge and practical understanding of environmental management issues, challenges, concepts and theories in the area of specialism (see above).
• Ability to teach across disciplines.
• Ability to undertake postgraduate teaching/supervision.
• Communicating effectively and delivering projects on a multi-disciplinary basis.

Appointed Occasional Lecturers will assist existing Programme Leaders with the delivery of GCU London’s suite of postgraduate programmes, playing a key role in the delivery of an excellent student experience.

Expressions of interest are welcomed from suitably qualified individuals with advanced knowledge and technical understanding on the above subjects and topics and teaching experience in UK universities at postgraduate level, or relevant industry experience.
