Lecturer in Computing (FE)

Our client, a leading institution committed to excellence in education, is seeking a Lecturer in Computing to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. This permanent position is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with the flexibility to wait until September for the right candidate.

Duties and responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to all learners in your class group
• Take ownership of learner progress and achievement
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, conduct, and educational delivery
• Ensure compliance with all College policies, including safeguarding, the staff code of conduct, and financial regulations

Skills and experience

• Proficient in C# and JavaScript programming
• Strong understanding of software development design approaches
• Knowledge of testing frameworks

Desired Experience:

• Exposure to XR technologies
• Familiarity with real-time embedded systems and AI
• Use of information systems for business purposes
• Experience with risk-based testing
• Teaching experience is desirable but not essential – training and support will be provided for the right candidate
