An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trial Coordinator to join the Norwich Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) at the Norwich Medical School to support the set-up of the NIHR-funded EASE trial.
EASE is a multi-centre, randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial to establish the effect(s) of administration of sertraline (50 mg once daily for six months) in people with a recent stroke and post-stroke emotionalism.
As a Trial Coordinator, you will contribute to the research programme, support the Trial Manager and wider EASE Trial Team in the set-up of study sites, maintain effective coordination of the allocated CTU study, and uphold the quality of the trial and compliance with the protocol, GCP, and applicable standards and regulations.
You will have a degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience in clinical trials. You will be able to work in a proactive and results-driven manner in a high-paced environment. You will also have strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to analyse and interpret data, and work effectively as part of a team. Advanced skills directly relating to this research area and previous research experience would be advantageous.
This full-time post is available from 1 June 2025 on a fixed term basis for 12 months.
