Contract: Interim – fixed term up to 12 months
We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance and Planning to join our team and support the Executive Director of Finance and Corporate Services in leading the financial management of the University, on a fixed-term basis.
In this pivotal role, you will take day-to-day responsibility for the leadership of the finance department and the effective management of the University’s finances. You will ensure all aspects of the financial cycle – including planning, budgeting, monitoring, and year-end processes – are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
You will produce high-quality financial reports, analysis, and information to support the Executive Management Team (EMT) and University committees, enabling robust and informed decision-making at the highest level. As a trusted advisor, you will bring strong technical expertise in finance and accounting and will confidently deputise for the Executive Director as required.
