We are seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to job share the operational management of the Department of Global Health Development in the Faculty of Public Health and Policy. Reporting to the Faculty Operating Officer and accountable to the Head of Department, the Department Manager will, with their job share partner, oversee the Department’s staffing, finances, research projects and space. The successful candidate will have proven experience in proactive line management of staff, and an excellent understanding of the research funding lifecycle.
The post is part-time 17.5 hours per week, 0.5 FTE, comprising 2 full days and one half-day, with the half-day overlapping with the job share postholder. It is open to secondment and fixed term until 28 February 2026 in the first instance. The post is funded by the Faculty and is available immediately.
The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 6 in the range £45,097 - £51,156 per annum pro rata (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
