An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Digital Arts team within Manchester Metropolitan University as a Technical Officer for Illustration, Animation and Graphics in the Manchester School of Arts/SODA. About the role:
As a Technical Officer the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Skills Sessions covering both software and equipment relating to illustration, animation and graphics. The successful candidate will have an interest and experience in printing (inkjet, laser, wide format, booklets etc.) and will assist students in printing their work from Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign etc.
Across the School of Art and the School of Digital Art we have a set of studio spaces encompassing 2D and 3D stop motion animation. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining these areas, demonstrating their function to students and ensuring Health & Safety guidelines are always met. The successful candidate will also deliver sessions on Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Dragonframe (amongst others).
