Scientific Researcher – Structural Studies – Dr Sjors Scheres – LMB 2600

Fixed Term: 11 months

An opportunity is available for a Scientific Researcher to join the group of Dr Sjors Scheres to undertake research investigating the design and testing of structure-specific amyloid binders. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will thrive in a friendly and supportive research environment at the interface of molecular biology and modern machine-learning. You should have a PhD in a relevant subject, or due to complete within 6 months. You are required to be experienced in machine-learning, including protein design, as well as experience in the wetlab with the design and implementation of high-throughput assays for testing the designed binders.
