Job Summary - We require an Environment and Clean Growth (ECG) Digital Solutions Support Officer to help audit the University’s portfolio of ECG Digital Tools and Solutions and identify those with high impact and income generation potential. The University has a growing portfolio of ECG Digital Tools and Solutions, created in response to increasing external demand. These tools and solutions are generally developed with time-limited project funds and the majority left unsupported after their initial funding ends. The University has an opportunity to extend and develop these tools’ impact by maintaining, supporting and encouraging their use, beyond their ‘original project’ funding and capitalising on opportunities to develop them. Developing a supported portfolio of ECG Tools and Solutions ‘under one roof’, which are publicised widely, maintained, updated and developed, will create the opportunity to maximise their benefit and impact to society, business and the University. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) scheme and is for 3 months from May 2025. This role offers hybrid working where you can work remotely and from Streatham Campus, Exeter. For more information on the GBP scheme, please visit www.exeter.ac.uk/internships.
About You – You should be a graduate who has a degree in business, sustainability, date applications or similar. You should have good attention to detail with high levels of accuracy, be succinct with an ability to present information simply and clearly. You should be a self-starter, be comfortable asking questions and engaging people, and be well-organised. You should also have knowledge around environment and sustainability is preferred, and some understanding of environmental intelligence tools would be advantageous but is not essential.
The Benefits to You - You will have access to a wide range of benefits, rewards and recognition from the University, including a generous pension, a holiday allowance of 39 days per year, Totum Card (student discount) and Salary Exchange Schemes (such as the Cycle to Work Scheme, and discounted membership to the university's sports facilities). The University offers extensive support to staff, including a structured Professional Development Review and Wellbeing Service plus 1:1 support from the Internships Team. You will be offered a ‘How to Make the Most of Your Internship’ guide, bespoke mentoring, and career consultancy opportunities.
