Working closely with the University of Greenwich Building Services Manager, you will ensure the development and delivery of the energy management function for the Estates Directorate, and coordinate the support and resources required to optimise the Building Energy Management System (BEMS).
The postholder must have excellent knowledge of energy management, including the proactive monitoring, control and optimisation of energy consumption, in order to contribute to the reduction of consumption, costs, and environmental impact of day-to-day activities. Additionally, understanding of legislative requirements and a working knowledge of building services is required.
The post holder will assist and advise on the strategic development and coordination of all activities relating to Energy Management and BEMS, such as contributing to business cases, feasibility studies, operation and maintenance.
They will be the key link between Estates colleagues, the IFM provider, sustainability team and external contractors to coordinate such activities across all three sites.
