The Opportunity
The expanding School of Allied Health Professions and Pharmacy (SAHP&P) at Keele University is seeking a creative Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) Lecturer.
Internationally recognised for offering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate provision, SAHP&P offers a range of pre-registration AHP programmes. As a TEF Gold institution, Keele University is renowned for its exciting approach to higher education and post-holders will join, and be supported by, an experienced group of over 100 enthusiastic academic staff.
The successful candidate will play a key supporting role delivering the pre-registration four-year MSci Speech and Language Therapy programme in addition to contributing to the development of further SLT provision. We would particularly welcome applications from Speech and Language Therapists with training and experience in voice disorders/acquired language & motor speech disorders/acquired cognitive communication disorders and/or adults with intellectual disabilities. You will be currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a Speech and Language Therapist and bring subject and practice experience in contemporary adult speech and language therapy. The post requires recent experience of teaching speech and language therapy within a clinical or higher education setting.
