The project
We invite applications for a PhD studentship exploring LGBTQ+ people and adult social care. There are currently knowledge gaps relating to particular groups of LGBTQ+ people: disabled people, those who receive domiciliary care and LGBTQ+ people from minoritised ethnic backgrounds. We welcome applications exploring these topics, but we would also consider research proposals exploring other under-researched areas around LGBTQ+ people and adult social care. It is important that the methods and topic proposed are broadly aligned. This project is funded by the NIHR School for Social Care Research.
The expected start date of this studentship is: 15 September 2025
The closing date for applications is: 15 May 2025
