The Opportunity
At the Joseph Wright Centre, DCG’s Academic & Arts centre, we offer thriving GCSE Combined Science, Applied Science, T-level and A-level courses. You will provide innovative, enthusiastic, and responsive delivery to meet the needs of our level 2 and level 3 Science students. You’ll manage students' learning, inspire and support them, and continually raise their achievements. Embracing Information Learning Technology, you will adapt teaching materials and manage flexible learning environments. Your responsibilities include planning schemes of learning, providing effective feedback, and tracking student progress.
This role offers the opportunity to work up to 37 hours per week.
About You
You have a successful track record of student achievement in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, with experience in teaching multiple subjects being desirable. You’ll have teaching experience in science at level 2 and level 3. You will work closely with management, colleagues, and students to ensure success for both the college and students. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to teamwork are essential. You hold a degree in science and a recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or are working towards achieving this.
