Teacher of English

Derby College Group (DCG) are looking for a Teacher of English to join our Study Programme English team, to successfully deliver GCSE and Functional Skills English to our students. This role is based at Broomfield Hall with flexibility to work across all sites as required. About you

You’ll provide outstanding English teaching and learning for our 16-19 cohort. You have experience teaching GCSE English (9-1) and preferably Functional Skills English within an FE context. You’ll possess high interpersonal skills, good time management, and IT proficiency. You are qualified up to at least Level 3 in English, with a relevant degree qualification being desirable. Additionally, you hold a recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or are willing to work towards it. You are enthusiastic, flexible, and innovative, with effective behaviour management strategies.
