Salary from £32,435 to £35,554 per annum inclusive with potential to progress to £37,891 pa inclusive of London allowance

LSE is the world’s leading social science institution, which attracts students from across the globe. The Residential and Catering Services Division (RCSD) plays a vital role in shaping the student experience by providing first-class, affordable accommodation and catering services that support and enhance our diverse community.

We’re constantly developing and enhancing our Residential Life programme, which is multi-award-winning and known in the sector, and we are looking for a proactive, experienced and people-focused Residential Life Officer (events) to join our team.

As Residential Life Officer (events), you’ll play a key role in building a strong sense of community across our hall or residences including:

• Developing and implementing a yearly calendar of student engagement events.
• Supporting student volunteer Hall Committees ensuring student participation across all residences.
• Ensure we deliver the best welcome to halls possible working with others across the Division and wider School.
• Creating a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for students.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of organising events and will possess excellent communication skills.  Above all you will need to demonstrate your commitment to working with students and to delivering a first-class service.
