Do you bring current experience in practice, management, or higher education, either as a children's nurse working with students at all levels or as a registered Children and Young people nurse across Child Health settings?
Middlesex University is expanding its Children and Young People’s Nursing team and is seeking high-achieving, dynamic practitioners who are passionate about combining clinical practice with academic development.
We are looking for candidates with strong leadership skills and experience in healthcare settings, who are dedicated to enhancing education in this field in collaboration with key external stakeholders to meet the evolving needs of the sector.
Successful candidates will also be committed to improving the student experience and contributing to the growth of the Department's research culture. Our ideal candidates will have significant experience of working within children and young person’s nursing. Preference will be given to candidates with experience of working in a hospital or community nursing setting as a children’s nurse. With a relevant first degree you will also be currently registered with the NMC as a Children and Young People’s nurse. We will consider those wishing to take part-time positions.
Possession of a teaching qualification and relevant higher degree is desirable at lecturer level. You will have excellent communication skills, a high level of clinical skills and practice application as well as outstanding planning and organizational skills.
