As Head of International Recruitment, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering the University’s international recruitment strategy. Your responsibilities will encompass providing clear direction, robust support, and inspirational leadership to the dedicated International Recruitment team. You will foster a collaborative and high-performing environment, empowering the team to achieve ambitious targets and deliver on our overarching vision for international student recruitment.
Working as an integral member of the Global Engagement leadership team, you will champion the outward-facing aspects of international recruitment, actively engaging with prospective students, agents, and partners. Simultaneously, you will oversee the crucial internal-facing advisory role of the team, providing expert guidance and support to faculties and departments on all matters related to international student recruitment.
A strong collaborative ethos is paramount to success in this role. You will work closely with the Partnerships and Global Opportunities team, identifying and leveraging synergistic opportunities that can lead to increased international recruitment. Your ability to build and maintain effective cross-functional relationships will be key to maximising our collective impact.
We are seeking an individual who already possesses significant experience and demonstrable expertise within the field of international recruitment. You will be well-versed in current trends, best practice, and the evolving landscape of global higher education. You will bring with you the confidence and knowledge necessary to make informed and impactful decisions regarding our recruitment activities.
Exceptional communication skills are essential, enabling you to articulate our vision persuasively to diverse audiences, both internal and external. A strong understanding of return on investment (ROI) principles is crucial, ensuring that our recruitment strategies are both effective and financially sustainable. You will be adept at analysing data, identifying key performance indicators, and making data-driven decisions to optimise our recruitment efforts.
