One of the newest and largest Colleges within the University of Oxford, St Catherine’s, is seeking a Head of Communications and Marketing. Reporting to the Master, this is a key role in College, focusing on managing and enhancing our multi-channel communication, marketing, branding, public relations, and media strategies.
In collaboration with the Master and internal stakeholders, the post holder will develop and implement a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy, encompassing internal and external communications. They will lead the development and management of the College’s brand identity, ensuring consistency across all communications. They will also lead on the delivery and management of a new College website, and manage the Conference website.
Project management and organisational skills are crucial for this role, along with people management experience and a keen awareness of how different communication channels inter-relate. The post holder will be creative and proactive, identifying and crafting stories, initiatives and commercial content from a range of sources. They will be comfortable attending events, as well as interacting with and interviewing a wide range of stakeholders to promote the College and achievements by students and Fellows.
The salary is within the range £46,735 - £55,755 per annum, dependent upon skills and experience, comprising 35 hours per week. In addition, benefits include a generous annual leave allowance, free lunches, free use of the College gym and a season ticket loan scheme for travel.
