The Post
To align with our vision for a dynamic student journey, we are seeking to transform our operations with the introduction of a robust and scalable Student Information System (SIS) to efficiently manage student data, deliver responsive systems and processes that track student progress and support student success, and leverage AI-enabled technology to re-imagine our approach. We are, therefore, transitioning to a modern integrated and technology enriched solution that will enhance our university’s ability to streamline operations, improve significantly the student experience, and align with future technology needs.
In order to deliver our vision for holistic student support and development, we need to engage dynamic, robust and responsive systems and processes capable of tracking student progress as they navigate the key touchpoints of the student journey. The change to a new SIS represents a comprehensive organisational transformation, requiring new governance structures, stakeholder engagement, process change, and dedicated skills development and support. Key benefits will include streamlined workflows, improved data management, and enhanced student engagement, contributing to a top 20 student experience.
We are offering the opportunity to lead a transformative project with significant organisational impact in a supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional development to enhance your skills and career.
The Project Director will lead the implementation of a newly procured Student Information System (SIS) and associated organisational change. This is a pivotal role that combines deep technical understanding with exceptional leadership, strong analyst skills, and business change management skills.
The post will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of this major software implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing stakeholder engagement, and driving the required organisational and process changes to maximise the system’s impact.
Additionally, the post will be fully accountable for delivering the objectives associated with implementing a new student information system, ensuring its success and long-term value to the organisation.
