DEPARTMENT OF MOLECULAR AND CLINICAL CANCER MEDICINE
We seek a motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to join the UK-EDI team, a Cancer Research UK-funded programme aimed at earlier detection of pancreatic cancer. You should have a PhD in cancer biology, molecular biology, or a related field. Experience in molecular biology techniques (e.g., Western blotting, PCR, qPCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, mass spectrometry), handling clinical samples, and working in multidisciplinary teams is highly desired, as is experience in data analysis, scientific writing, and contributing to high-impact research publications. Knowledge of quality control in experimental design, bioinformatics, or translational research is advantageous.
This post is available until 30 June 2026 in the first instance.
If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
