  • Must have a PhD in a biological science related discipline (or alternatively a BSc in a biological science with subsequent substantial experience) and have worked in a drug discovery environment ideally with TB or other antibacterials.
  • A track record of answering scientific questions by applying multiple complementary techniques and approaches by engaging with external experts.
  • Demonstrate a broad understanding of both cell biology and enzymology, sufficient to propose approaches in either discipline to advance projects.
  • Show clear organisational skills and a detailed focussed approach.
  • Illustrate expertise in collaborating with external groups with evidence of their influencing capabilities to advance projects forward.

We are one of the UK's leading universities, internationally recognised for our expertise across a range of disciplines and research breakthroughs in multiple areas, including science, medicine and engineering, amongst many others.
