The University of Roehampton is recruiting for the role of a Research Assistant (0.2 FTE) to join Dr. Shekoufeh Rahimi’s research project, funded by the British Academy’s Horizon Europe Pump Priming Collaboration between UK and EU Partners 2025. This project is conducted in collaboration with King’s College London and University College London. This is an exciting time to join us as we actively contribute to advancing research in Modelling for Software Sustainability, supporting the University’s ambitious research strategy over the next five years.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative research environment. The successful candidate will contribute to research in Modelling for Software Sustainability by supporting data analysis, literature reviews, and project coordination. Strong analytical skills, the ability to multitask, and effective communication are essential for this role.
Key responsibilities will include supporting research activities through data collection, analysis, and interpretation, conducting literature reviews to inform research developments, collaborating with researchers from partner institutions to contribute to publications, and assisting with project coordination, including organising meetings, maintaining documentation, and ensuring timely progress.
