Background
A post-doctoral research fellow is sought to lead on the day-to-day operations of the following project: “Transforming eye care services: Evaluating the feasibility and utility of performing glaucoma assessments directly within care-homes and geriatric clinics”. Responsibilities
The successful candidate would be expected to take ownership and lead the day-the-day operations of this 3-year research project. It is anticipated that they would be involved in initial project planning and ethics, right through to data collection, writing up, and dissemination (i.e., as 1st author).
Person Specification
This would be an exciting opportunity for an early-stage researcher (with a PhD in vision science, optometry, experimental psychology, or a related field with a strong technical or clinical component), or a research-optometrist/ophthalmologist looking to develop their research career.

The selection process will involve an interview and candidates will be asked to perform a short (10 minute) PowerPoint presentation regarding their previous research to date, and to complete some simple written exercises concerning statistics and programming.
