The role
This is a great opportunity to influence the successful delivery of change across the University. The role is part of a small team of change management specialists who work as business partners across the University, supporting colleagues at all levels to plan for and deliver change.
What will you be doing?
You will be allocated a partner faculty and professional services division, in addition to several strategic projects. You will act as the first point of contact for the leadership teams in these areas, bridging the gap between strategic projects and those impacted by change. You will need to understand the local working cultures, their challenges and ways of working to appropriately advise on the approach to change. You will spend a significant amount of time planning and delivering workshops that aim to build capability for managing change and/or prepare people for specific changes. You will use your knowledge of your allocated parts of the University to analyse the impact of change and feed into organisational change impact assessments, as directed by the Head of Change Management.
You should apply if
You are confident, engaging and people focused. You will have an excellent knowledge of change management as a discipline and an understanding of how, and why, people react to change. You will be a problem solver, able to listen and understand people with ease and adapt your engagement approach as necessary. You will enjoy building relationships and working in a cohesive team but will also be self-motivated and able to manage your own competing demands and prioritise accordingly. Understanding of project and programme management is an advantage.
