Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Law, invites applications for a full-time or part-time position as Assistant Professor in Digital and Empirical Constitutionalism (2+2 years, with the possibility of a tenure track) at the Institute for the Interregional Study of Constitutionalism (IISC).

The Faculty of Law, established in 1348 as one of the university’s four founding faculties, is now the largest accredited law faculty in the Czech Republic, with over 4,500 students.
We are seeking a candidate whose research focuses on discourse analysis in the (digital) public sphere, the role of deliberative democracy in the context of social media, and uses empirical methods in the analysis of collective identity. The successful applicant will join a multidisciplinary research team studying constitutionalism as a foundation for collective identity and community.
The initial contract will be for two years. Upon a successful review, the candidate may receive a contract extension of up to two years, with a pathway to a permanent position.
