This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled administrator to experience the role of Assistant Departmental Administrator. This appointment is to provide maternity cover and is offered for one year or until the return of the current post-holder, whichever is sooner.
The role-holder will work flexibly and employing a significant degree of initiative to provide high-level administrative support to the Department, and in particular to the Head of Department and the Business and Operations Manager (Department Administrator), through a mixture of on-going responsibilities and project work. They will support the Head of Department directly in the development and delivery of operational and strategic priorities, interpreting and explaining guidance, gathering and analysing management information, developing local policies and procedures, and leading projects, providing specific leadership in the areas of learning, teaching and student recruitment through effective leadership of the learning and teaching support team.
Temporary cover: This post is fixed-term for 12 months or the return of the post-holder, whichever is the earlier.
