This is a hugely exciting time to join our marketing, communications and insights team. In 2025 The University of Warwick turns 60 and we have ambitious plans to elevate our communications, media coverage and storytelling.
Our vision is for the University of Warwick to be a loved and respected global education brand recognised as a world class leader in education, research and innovation, locally, nationally and internationally.
Our Content Executives (Digital Engagement) are at the front line of this vision as part of the University’s enthusiastic, dynamic and agile team of strategic story tellers in working in Corporate Communications.
We are looking for communicators with a passion for social media who are skilled in content creation.
In this role you will be out speaking to our students, departments and academics, gathering information and stories through still and moving imagery to create amazing content for social media. You’ll work closely with our student content creators to showcase the experiences of our international community and show what it's really like to work and study at Warwick.
You’ll ensure the University’s excellence in research, teaching, student experience, innovation, community outreach and widening participation are highlighted through thumb-stopping content to raise brand awareness and achieve maximum impact.
You’ll monitor the wider social media environment, seeking out and maximising opportunities for the university to accelerate its social media presence through outstanding content and meaningful interactions. Responding to comments and resolving issues via social media is a key part of this role.
Working with colleagues within our marketing, creative communications, social media and internal communications teams and external agencies you will share opportunities and help source and create content using social and digital media.
At the heart of our university lies the imperative to search for answers to the world’s most complex questions, and to share the knowledge we gain so that, together, we contribute to creating a fairer, better world for all.
By joining Warwick, you’ll join a diverse, innovative, and globally connected community committed to igniting real-world progress regionally, nationally, and internationally.
