About the role
You will work mainly in our busy Box Office as part of a small friendly team, and be passionate about providing excellent customer service and meeting sales targets. As a Ticketing Assistant, you will work collaboratively with various departments within the Museum, such as Exhibitions, Events and Learning. As part of our Box Office team, you will not only help to provide an essential first point of contact for visitors to the Ashmolean, but will also work with the shop floor teams, working face to face with customers, providing excellent customer service, and occasionally helping with stock.
This is a permanent, variable hours post, and you will work flexibly, including working weekends and occasional evenings.
About You
You will be educated to at least GCSE standard in English and Mathematics. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player, and capable of working independently. You will have good IT literacy and strong organisational skills with attention to detail. You will be passionate about customer satisfaction and achieving sales targets.
