About the role

The UCL School of Management is looking to appoint a full-time Associate Professor (Teaching) to become a key member of the team delivering the School’s new BSc in Management for Social Change degree. The degree is designed for individuals who are passionate about changing society for the better while learning fundamental management knowledge and skills. It combines modules in political science, management, and social change to enable students to lead and participate in change initiatives.

The post is available from 1st August 2025 or as per negotiation.

Salary Details - UCL Grade 9 £67,341-£73,142 (including London Allowance)

Competitive salary (includes Market Supplements on top of basic salary listed above).

About you

The successful candidate will need to evidence the following in their application: The School is looking for a postholder with a relevant PhD or equivalent Doctorate in a field related to social change or business and management is required. Applications are also welcome from candidates with qualifications in the business and management area including general management, marketing, design thinking, entrepreneurship, and analytics, especially people analytics. Any practical experience and networks related to these fields would be highly valuable for the team.

The ideal candidate will have demonstratable experience in leading a team or a project in the field of education, for example, as programme leader, to deliver education excellence, curriculum reform, and/or professional development opportunities and teach students or delegates from a wide range of disciplines and cultural backgrounds.
