Lecturer Business

The University of Central Lancashire London, a partner of the University of Central Lancashire, is an ambitious, teaching-focussed HE provider, primarily aimed at a widening participation audience.  Based in London’s East India Docks, the university currently delivers courses related to Business, Computing, Health and Social Care, Public Health, Psychology and Mental Health and Wellbeing. 

Continued growth in demand for our student-centred courses has led to the opportunity to expand our exceptional delivery team through the addition of a full-time lecturer, in areas related to Business. 

We are looking for an experienced lecturer with a solid grounding and applicable experience in business, particularly in areas related to Economics, Finance, HR and Marketing. The successful applicant will be employed to lecture on a range of relevant modules, with possible module leading opportunities available, in areas specific to expertise.

You will be qualified to a minimum of master's degree level in a relevant discipline, with knowledge of contemporary issues within computing-related sectors.  A strong grounding in industry will be an advantage, together with fellowship (or commitment to gain fellowship) of the HEA. You will have experience of working both with your own initiative, as well as part of a team. 

You must have an existing right to live and work in the United Kingdom without restriction or caveat. All academic staff are required to teach face-to-face on campus.
