The Role

We have an opening within our Digital Audio-Visual Solutions Team at the University of Greenwich, offering you the chance to be at the forefront of campus-based AV technology. This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our teaching facilities.
As a Digital AV Technician, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, maintenance, and support of audio-visual solutions across our teaching and learning spaces, including live events. You will collaborate with IT support teams to ensure our facilities operate seamlessly for on-campus, online, and blended learning, while also managing AV equipment assets.
Your Profile
You are an experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering high-quality AV solutions. You are driven to apply your expertise in a variety of AV scenarios, ensuring our teaching and learning spaces meet the highest standards of functionality and reliability.
Excited by the opportunity to contribute to a transformative educational environment, you will work closely with our established team to enhance our AV facilities. You will have experience in deploying, configuring, and maintaining AV solutions for teaching, learning, meetings, such as Extron control systems, Q-SYS DSPs, Teams Rooms (e.g. Logitech) AVoIP (e.g. Dante and Wyrestorm) and live events. You will possess strong communication and organisational skills, enabling you to work effectively with IT support teams and manage AV equipment assets.
Your professional growth in this position will enable you to make significant contributions to our AV facilities, ensuring they are in full support of the university's 'This is Our Time' strategy and the digital sub-strategy.
