We are looking for an experienced, exceptional, proactive, and enthusiastic individual to take on this role within the Accommodation Service. In addition to carrying out administrative duties and providing a front-line customer service, a key part of the job involves working to resolve welfare, disciplinary and facilities-related issues within the halls of residence.
The post requires someone with excellent administrative and customer service skills who enjoys working with students. You must be able to liaise closely with other colleagues and various relevant internal and external agencies to promote wellbeing, a sense of community and a positive student experience.
You will need to take direction but will also be required to work creatively and independently as well as contribute to a team. You will be expected to manage multiple priorities whilst maintaining attention to detail.
Although primarily based at the Medway Campus, all Accommodation Officers are expected to regularly work at other campuses. The post will include providing out of hours/on-call support on a rota basis with other staff, for which an on-call allowance is paid. You will need to have a commitment to equality and diversity and confidentiality as well as a fundamental belief in the value of higher education.
For an informal discussion about the post please contact Justyna Dobber Morrell j.k.dobber@greenwich.ac.uk
