Salary
Research Assistant: £32,546 - £34,132 per annum.
Research Associate: £35,116 - £38,249 per annum.
The Role
We seek an outstanding candidate with a track record of research in the area of in vivo and in vitro genetic models of cartilage pathobiology to join this project in the laboratory of Professor Michael Briggs that forms part of Newcastle University's Skeletal Research group (SRG).
This is a fixed-term position and provides an exciting opportunity to work in an interdisciplinary group as part of a research team studying osteoarthritis progression using mouse and cell models to detect clinically relevant changes and potential disease modifying agents for potential therapies.
This post is full-time, fixed-term until 31 January 2026.
