The Role

The International Office leads the University's international student recruitment and global engagement.
We are delighted to be able to recruit a motivated and passionate individual to join our International Recruitment team. Your role will be to support the development and delivery of the student recruitment strategy for the priority region of China. You will be responsible for managing different recruitment channels and contribute to the broader engagement and reputation building for Newcastle University.
In order to be successful, you will be an enthusiastic creative, results-orientated individual, driven about innovation, with outstanding relationship management. You will be committed to excellence in the field of international education, and/or sales, marketing, and student recruitment. You should have proven leadership qualities to drive forward your activity area and influence others within a complex organisational and external environment.
Your role will provide leadership, coordination and support for engagement with China, (experience of the Chinese, East Asia and Asian markets is desirable) in doing so, they will contribute to the development and delivery of Newcastle University's ambitious objectives for internationalisation and international student recruitment.
It is important to note, this role is based at Newcastle Campus and does require, at times, extensive travel ,which does vary in accordance with strategic priorities.
