The Role
The University of Roehampton Professional Services Limited is recruiting to the role of Senior Data Analyst. This role will lead on the production of analysis relating to range of different areas of University activity, deploying high-level analytical skills, complex statistical analyses and use of appropriate tools and technology to deliver key data insights to the University Executive Board and key stakeholders across the institution.
They will also play a key role in overseeing and enhancing data practices across all university departments, including leading large-scale data analytics projects and working closely with other data analyst roles within the University, and making a critical contribution to shaping future data and technology solutions.
Key responsibilities will include:
You will have significant demonstrable experience of using different technological platforms and systems to extrapolate complex data analytics, producing and interpreting a wide variety of management information for a range of key stakeholders, and developing plans, making recommendations on strategic direction based on key data insights.
You will be a skilled organiser with a honed ability to work under pressure, ensure adherence to high levels of accuracy and effectively prioritise workload. You will also have thorough knowledge of relational data structures, unstructured data, analytics, data management best practices including data quality, data governance and legal compliance.
This role is an exciting opportunity work within a dynamic and driven directorate, lead impactful data-driven projects with university-wide influence, and collaborate with colleagues across the University including senior academics and data analysts.
