We are currently piloting a four-day working week which allows our colleagues to work 32 hours over 4 days week with no reduction in pay. The pilot is part of our ongoing efforts to create a positive and inclusive workplace that promotes work-life balance and allows our colleagues to thrive professionally and personally whilst maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality service to all our students.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Alongside our new building we have a brand new Simulation Centre. This is a state-of-the-art training facility designed to replicate a realistic clinical environment for our Nursing programmes. Featuring four hospital beds, equipped with patient simulators. Overhead monitors display real-time vital signs, while medical equipment including IV stands, defibrillators, and oxygen supplies—is positioned strategically for hands-on practice. The walls are lined with sleek cabinetry storing essential supplies, and large observation windows allow instructors to monitor simulations. A control room with advanced audio-visual systems enables real-time scenario adjustments, ensuring an immersive and dynamic learning experience for trainees. Simulation centre is where our nursing students will be learning their practical skills.
Providing a technical support service to the Simulation Suite, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and breakdown of simulation equipment, managing stock and ensuring delivery of simulation-based training.
To excel in this role, you will have experience of working in a clinical role within a healthcare environment as well as knowledge of advanced patient simulators, audio-visual systems and clinical related equipment setup. An understanding of Health & Safety regulations relating to clinical setting is essential. We are looking for a skilled communicator with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and someone who is committed to providing exceptional customer service.
