We are recruiting a Governance Coordinator who can provide support to the Governance and Quality Assurance Team. You will need strong attention to detail and the ability to learn bespoke software as well as experience in administration to succeed in this role.

About the job:
The role of the Governance Coordinator is to assist with a wide range of tasks to ensure that governance standards are maintained across the NIHR BioResource.
The post-holder will support audits and the management of Standard Operating Procedures and Policies. The role holder will provide advice to researchers and/or other staff from BioResource centres who contact the Governance inbox with queries.
The role will provide support to fulfil Information Governance and Security requirements, including submission of the annual NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit. When required the post holder will also review sections of participant facing materials specifically in relation to the adherence of regulatory standards.

The post is available on a fixed-term basis until 31 March 2028 in the first instance. NIHR BioResource is funded by the National Institute for Health & Care Research (NIHR) on a 5-year funding cycle.
Our offices are on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus CB2 0QQ (approximately 2 miles south of the city centre).
