The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of Attendance Administrator to join our Student Immigration and Compliance team. The team play a key role in supporting the University deliver on its key UKVI sponsor duties including monitoring international student attendance in accordance with our Student Attendance and Engagement policy and the immigration rules.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, busy and regulatory environment. The successful candidate should be prepared to manage a varied workload, work independently and deliver on the University’s attendance policy requirements.
Key responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day requirements of the University’s attendance and engagement process, be a super user of SEAts, the attendance monitoring system, work closely with the Student Engagement and Student Casework teams assisting students to re-engage with studies and following up on attendance reviews in cases of withdrawal and producing attendance and engagement reports for the Head of Student Immigration and Compliance and the University Executive Board.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in making rational and fair decisions within a prescribed framework, applying complex rules and legislation in a professional administrative context, advanced capabilities in the use of Microsoft Excel to create and manipulate spreadsheets.
