The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced academic to play a key role on our Leadership and Management Programme at London College of Fashion (LCF).
Based in the Fashion Business School, the Lecturer in Fashion Management: Research Methods will be responsible for teaching, curriculum development, and on-going scholarship on the BSc Fashion Management, MSc Strategic Fashion Management and MBA Fashion Management courses.
These courses seek to equip students with a solid understanding of fashion management, and as a Lecturer, you will play a leading role in refining the skills and expertise of future business leaders and innovators in fashion.
Working collaboratively with the undergraduate and postgraduate course teams, you will deploy your specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions, expanding the capacity of the course design to stimulate learning and to develop qualitative and quantitative research skills and applications.
About you
You will be educated to at least a higher degree level (e.g. MSc, MBA) in a relevant subject area and will possess experience of teaching and assessment in a Higher Education environment or the equivalent relevant experience.
You will also exhibit evidence of research, teaching, knowledge exchange and/or professional practice that contributes to the advancement of relevant activity and is relevant to the goals of the Programme, College and University.
Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills will also be essential for success in this role.
