The University of Leeds is looking for a Head of Student Communications to engage our diverse student community with creative, impactful messaging. In this role, you’ll lead our award-winning team who craft compelling campaigns, manage digital channels, and ensure students stay informed, inspired, and involved. From big announcements to engaging social content, you’ll shape how we communicate with over 43,000 students from 140 countries across the globe. We are looking for an experienced leader to develop and deliver high-impact communications that foster a sense of belonging, engagement, and advocacy, making the Leeds student experience second to none. You will lead, develop, and manage the Student Communications Team of six talented professionals, liaise with staff across our Student Education and Experience portfolio and other student-facing teams across the University. You’ll collaborate with fellow communications professionals in our Communications & Engagement team, contributing to developing the University’s global profile, protecting its reputation, and creating communications and engagement opportunities for our diverse Leeds community. This role will test your creative skills, challenge your leadership qualities, and enhance your potential in shaping institution-wide student engagement, aligning with the University's strategic goals and our commitment to excellence in student education and experience.
