Applications are invited for the post of Cambridge Cardiovascular Research Coordinator to support interdisciplinary research activities across the University and beyond.
The post holder will provide administrative support to the Manager of the BHF Cambridge Centre for Research Excellence (CRE), and the Cambridge Cardiovascular Interdisciplinary Research Centre (IRC). The role supports a wide range of activities. These include financial monitoring and reporting for award budgets, maintenance of the Cambridge Cardiovascular website, and organisation of events and meetings.
Applicants should be educated to A Level standard including GCSE English Language and Mathematics or have equivalent qualifications or equivalent experience and must possess excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office programmes (Excel in particular). They should have good interpersonal and communication skills, and a flexible and positive attitude. Relevant finance or administration experience, ideally within an academic setting, is essential.
Experience of University Finance Systems, event organisation, and/or website editing would be desirable.
