The Faculty of Engineering invites applications for the following position effective September 2025 (or later). Appointments are possible also for 50% of the working time.
Professor/Associate Professor in Robotics and Mechatronics
The appointed professor will play a leading role in establishing a research group and attract third-party funded projects in any chosen areas of interest in Robotics and Autonomous Systems. The professor should actively promote graduate and undergraduate research at the GIU Berlin. All facets of Robotics and Mechatronics are of interest for research, including (but not limited to) Systems and Control Theory, Embedded Systems Engineering, Autonomous Systems, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Real-Time Systems.
