The Purpose of the Role
The Trinity Centre for Global Health (TCGH) is seeking to appoint a full-time Assistant Professor to act as the Postgraduate Course Coordinator across the TCGH’s current post-graduate programmes: the PhD in Global Health, the MSc in Global Health and the MSc in Global Mental Health. As a core member of the TCGH team, the successful candidate will work closely with the MSc Global Health and MSc Global Mental Health Course Directors as well as the course Administrators and will be responsible for co-ordinating modules as well as teaching and supervising post-graduate students across both programmes, in addition to their own PhD students.
Context
Established in 2004, the TCGH is an interdisciplinary centre co-located across the Schools of Medicine and Psychology with a vision to generate impactful knowledge through high quality, multidisciplinary research and teaching, while contributing to a world in which the health and wellbeing of all at all ages is realised. The TCGH strives to achieve this vision through two overarching goals: (i) To conduct multidisciplinary and collaborative research, prioritising knowledge transfer and evidence-to-policy-and-practice partnerships, and (ii) To provide students with high-quality, multidisciplinary, post-graduate programmes that build their capacity to contribute to the promotion and delivery of equitable health systems in their countries of origin and globally.
