The Mental Health Group within the Department of Mental Health and Social Work is seeking to appoint a new post to join their successful, friendly and dynamic team.
Applicants for the Associate Lecturer post should have experience in mental health/psychology and hold an MSc Psychology academic award. You will join a team with a strong tradition of delivering high quality, innovative mental health nursing programmes as well as a range of mental health postgraduate programmes.
Successful candidates for the Associate Lecturer post should have knowledge and some experience in psychology/mental health practice including interventions: CBT, motivational interviewing, psychotherapeutic models and trauma informed practice alongside academic qualifications at postgraduate level.
Working within the Department of Mental Health and Social Work the Associate Lecturer role will be part of a team contributing to the delivery of advanced communication skills and other social work/nursing practice modules plus other mental health post-graduate programmes including CPD.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for these posts.
