The Advancement Office is seeking to appoint a Head of Philanthropy to focus on building engagement and securing funding to support our pioneering Digital Research.

This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis.
About The Advancement Office
The Advancement Office is responsible for building long-term, impactful relationships with the University’s alumni, friends and supporters.
We support a network of over 150,000 University of Bath alumni across 170 countries, as well as our wider community of supporters who generously give their time, expertise and philanthropy to the University.
Philanthropy is one of the main aspects of our work and donations are vital. They transform students’ lives through removing barriers to education, and advance important research in areas such as sustainability, health and wellbeing, and digital. We are pleased that 100% of every donation goes to the people and projects for which it is intended.

About you
As an experienced high-value fundraiser, you will identify and manage a portfolio of 80-100 prospective donors, including High-Net-Worth individuals (both alumni and non-alumni), companies, and trusts, in the UK and internationally.
You will work closely with colleagues within the department and across the University to identify, cultivate and secure major gifts (6 figure+), in order to achieve an agreed annual fundraising target.
