UCC wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Emergency Medicine - Paramedical Studies, within the School of Medicine. This post will be pivotal in the development of Paramedical Science within the University and the delivery of the core academic and clinical syllabi, in partnership with the National Ambulance Service College.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate a broad-based experience in terms of teaching and prehospital and emergency care related research at a third-level academic institution.

This post provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, dynamic and creative individual with vision to contribute to the further development of paramedic research in particular in Ireland. This is an exceptional opportunity for a suitably qualified person to play a key role in overseeing the delivery of a new Paramedic Studies degree course, Masters and PhD courses and to support research in this area. The appointee will co-ordinate the development, delivery and quality assurance of the teaching and research programme in Paramedic Studies at UCC.

Appointment may be made on the Lecturer (above the bar) Salary Scale: € 78,401 - €101,534 (Scale B) (pro rata).

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
