The University of Bolton, Manchester (UOBM) is an exciting new higher education provider in the heart of Manchester, with a focus on high quality teaching and assessment, and an inclusive, business-like culture. As we launch our range of undergraduate courses, we are looking to recruit high quality, highly motivated lecturers with a strong background in practice to match their academic qualifications.
We are looking for a lecturer in Legal Aspects of Business, with potential utility across a range of other business topics academic skill areas. We are especially interested in those from industry and commerce looking to start a new career in higher education. Our ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the legal aspects of business and will be an outstanding lecturer. They will be passionate about improving the life-chances of our students and have a deep interest in providing holistic academic and professional development.
Successful candidates will work from our building at the Manchester Science Park. All staff are required to teach face-to-face but may occasionally need to teach online, so familiarity with online delivery, and Zoom in particular, will be an advantage.
Salaries are competitive and based on candidates' qualifications, experience, and utility. Fellowship of the HEA or an undertaking to achieving this will also be an advantage. You will be qualified to Bachelor’s degree level as a minimum. Candidates must have an unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship.
