Exeter College, part of the University of Oxford, seeks an enthusiastic and motivated Access and Outreach Manager to join its Academic Office team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role at a time when the College is expanding its access and outreach provision. We firmly believe in seeking to attract and admit students with the greatest academic potential, from whatever background they come, and the postholder will play a key role in making this aspiration a reality.

Within the role, you will take the lead in the implementation of our Access and Outreach strategy. This will include delivering a programme of activities that are appropriately targeted, effectively delivered and rigorously evaluated, as well as supporting policy development, managing the Access & Outreach budget, and developing partnerships with external organisations and stakeholders. You will also be responsible for all aspects of managing the Schools Liaison Officer.

To be successful, you will have relevant experience within the Educational sector, or similar, together with strong administrative skills, a proven ability to successfully prioritise multiple competing demands, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be comfortable building relationships quickly and easily with people from a wide range of backgrounds. In addition, you will have excellent communication and presentation skills, and a proven ability to work autonomously and with initiative when required.

You must be willing, and able, to travel on a regular basis to designated link regions in the South West of the UK.

Salary will be within the range £38,674 - £46,913 per annum, depending on skills and experience. In addition, the College offers a range of other benefits, including a generous annual leave allowance, access to contributory pension scheme and healthcare/ dental cover, and a free lunch whilst on duty.
