Lecturer in Materials Science and Engineering (2 Posts Available)

The Department of Materials at the University of Manchester seeks an enthusiastic, high-quality, candidate for a teaching-focused Lectureship position in Materials Science & Engineering.

The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the teaching and learning endeavours in the discipline of Materials Science and Engineering including aspects of the development and delivery of teaching & learning at both the undergraduate and postgraduate taught levels.

The role aims to strengthen the teaching and learning capabilities of the department covering all core areas of the course curriculum. As such, the post-holder will be actively engaged in ongoing teaching and learning activities and in the development of teaching methods and materials in the department, with the aim of improving the education, experience and employability of students. Teaching and administrative duties within the Department of Materials will be assigned by the Head of Department in discussion with the Line Manager.
