Full Time PhD Studentship at The School of Physical Sciences, STEM Faculty

Salary: £20,780 stipend and an additional allocated research training budget.
Project Title: Demonstration of Deterministic QC with one clean qubit (DQC1) on a neutral atom array.

This full time, fully-funded studentship is available from 1 October 2025 with duration of 3.5 years.

The studentship covers fees and includes a stipend of £20,780 per annum (2025–2026 rate). The grant also includes an additional allocated research training budget.
To be eligible for funding, applicants must meet the UKRI academic requirements. We normally require candidates to have at least a 2:1 at UK BSc or MSc.
